Is my health data secure with Within Eve?

Your data is protected under “General Data Protection Regulation” (GDPR) which extends beyond the standard requirements of UK and US data protection regulations. Under GDPR your data can only be used for the purpose that you consent to. You can read more about this in our privacy policy.

We also try to minimise the amount of personally identifiable information we collect (e.g. we ask for year of birth, but not date of birth, and post code, but not street address), while recognising that the research does require some basic demographic info.

We also implement security best practices to avoid that data falling into the wrong hands. To do that we use several technologies:

Encryption

We encrypt any user data we store or transfer. Encryption is a way of scrambling data so that only authorized parties can understand the information. In simple terms, encryption takes readable data and alters it so that it appears random.

Data is transferred over HTTPS to our servers, this is the same transfer protocol that would be used if you enter your credit card details on a website. Data is also encrypted at rest by our database.

What are the benefits of using Within Eve?

Weight loss, improved energy, better sleep, increased focus, and stable moods. And specifically for peri -menopause, a reduction in hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disturbances, inflammation, joint pain, and irritability.

Within Eve gives you real-time data on how your body responds to everyday factors like diet, exercise, menstrual cycle and sleep. We also provide insights on the data and hacks on how to make small changes to make a significant difference. The data doesn’t lie. You do something and you see the impact, all in real time.

I’ve got a health condition, can I still use Within Eve?

We do not diagnose, prevent, or treat any diseases (including metabolic or inflammatory conditions). If you have any underlying health conditions, you should consult your doctor before joining the program.

This program is not appropriate for those with an eating disorder or a history of eating disorders.

I’ve got fussy children and can’t completely change my diet; will Within Eve still work for me?

We provide personal hacks for your lifestyle, this shouldn’t impact eating together as a family. Hacks, not life changes

What sets Within Eve apart from other sensors and diet plans?

We have the leading expert in women’s metabolic health as the founder, and with her unique knowledge and insights on women’s health, you are getting 1 to 1 advice and expertise in advance of the market.

What happens after the program?

You will be set up for success if you continue the hacks you’ve learnt to ensure you benefit from positive health outcomes. You can also check back in for a 15-minute follow-up call if you feel you need it. 

Can I use Within Eve before 35?

Yes, we are focused on women 40+ because that segment of the population is most likely to be experiencing health issues associated with the hormone transition and how that impacts metabolic health

Is the sensor comfortable?

Yes, the majority of users forget it’s there after first applying.

How does the sensor work?

The biowearable sensor works through a tiny sensor inserted under your skin, on your upper arm. The sensor measures your interstitial glucose level, which is the glucose found in the fluid between the cells. The sensor tests glucose every few minutes. A transmitter wirelessly sends the information to your phone.
